Another pitstop was made in search of the perfect sweater,

and boy oh boy, am I regretting NOT purchasing this cozy little gem.

I found myself at ROSS. Yes, ROSS- dress for less.

And low and behold my long lost COMBAT BOOTS!

They're much cheaper, too!

[although originally only $60, I paid $22!]

On my outing today, I also purchased a few more fun things:

- A cream sweater from goodwill

- Black lace thigh high stockings

- a travel luggage i.d.

- a while floral flask!

-cheetah falsie nails (SO FUN)

- Marine Blue Nail Laquer

- my trusty november issue of NYLON & combats

I'll continue my boot hunt while on the west coast, but for now, these will do :)

todays mood:

Is reminiscent of a time in high school where I was reading one of my favorite books, Stephen Chbosky 's the perks of being a wallflower.

( i know, i know, how cliche..)

However, I really rather miss those good ole days.

Riding with my gals in the Neon, windows down, driving by our high school where we'd often demonstrate improper hand gestures towards it as if to say " eff you " in a sense..

Not to anyone in particular of course! More so to the idea of being cooped up in that ginormous box while our spirits and minds were floating far and free. Where possibilities were endless.

The Smiths, The Clash, The Postal Service, Mazzy Starr & Jeff Buckley--they all graced our eardrums with a certain dreamlike and hopeful state for those moments.

The NOW moments.

I'll keep those forever.
